Three Pack Break 2009 Upper Deck + Contest!

Here are the three packs of 2009 UD Baseball that I broke.  Another solid start to the 2009 baseball product schedule.

The skinny on the contest: First commenter to figure out what the three scanned base cards have in common wins……something.  I’ll try to find something you’ll like.  Possibly 5 Brad Cresse bat cards.  I’ll go by the order the comments show up in my email, so don’t worry if your post gets shuttled off to be moderated.

Insert Cards
OPC Insert – Jose Resyes (these cards look great, I am considering doing the set)

Team USA U18 Jersey Cards – Donavan Tate

So, there you have it.  The Tate was a nice surprise.  There’s a goodish amount of buzz surrounding him.  Great design, and the OPC inserts are awesome looking as well.

  1. Sam says:

all 3 players in throwing motion!!!!!!

  2. Brian says:

wow. I can’t think of anything clever to say, so I’ll just throw out there an answer…..
Get it? “Throw” out there? Ha! I kill me!
    no? okay.
They’re all in the act of throwing…..

  3. THOSE THREE PLAYERS ARE CANADIAN!! Also, why isn’t “Chopper” on that card?? Yeah, only a handful of you will understand that…

    • That’s the one I was looking for! Kind of neat that there are getting to be more and more Canadians in MLB, and I can actually pull them with regularity (I also pulled a Ryan Dempster).

  4. Nifty.

Donovan Tate has a great expression on his face. And is he standing in a storm drain?

  5. Marie says:

Great packs, you got some good stuff. I wish I opened those packs, lol. Check your e-mail for some banter.

  6. HarryBerry32 says:

    Hey,

Is the Donovan Tate for trade? My friend is trying to complete the set.

  7. HarryBerry32 says:

Is the Donovan Tate for trade or sale?

I have a USA baseball personal collection.

    Thanks,

    Harrison
